Meditation and Yoga retreat in the heart of the MONTSENY NATIONAL PARK, Barcelona, Spain
Tushita is a retreat centre in the heart of the Montseny National Park, approximately one and a half hours from Barcelona. It belongs to the FPMT, which is a foundation for the preservation of the Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist tradition. The centre is set in a quiet beautiful valley 2 km off the nearest main road in the middle of the mountainous region of the Montseny.
There are meditation sessions throughout the day, which are run by Kiko Segura, the centre director. There are also 2 yoga classes a day, taught by Lisa Howe, one mid-morning and one late afternoon to prepare physically and mentally for the meditation sessions. There are also many breaks throughout the day in which participants can make the most of the walks in the beautiful countryside around Tushita. Tushita offers delicious well-balanced organic vegetarian food and the price of the retreat is very economical.
